Order of activating guiding camera and telescope important?

starting just with Prism V10 I am still learning. What was confusing and cost some time to learn was about the order of activation of devices.
Usually I start my cameras (imaging and guiding cameras) and make a pre-check, create initial dark frames or so. Then, when connecting my mount, the guiding device is changed to “Simulation” automatically. I did not know this and was concerned about my setup – calibration went nada every time.
Later I realized this change and found, that connecting the mount first and the guiding camera second did the job.

However, I wonder why … is this a bug or a feature?

With best regards,

thanks for the info TJ. This is should not matter at all. The cameras (1, 2, 3) connect altogether and the rest of the equipment through the telescope icon.
